I first met this family when big sister was turning one year old and it was a pleasure to see them again. I love when kids come back as big sisters, I love celebrating with a family as they grow and seeing big sisters shine at their new role! Pearl was the sweetest with Arthur. She was so sure to be gentle with him!
Arthur was the most awake and calm baby I have ever photographed in the studio. It’s not often I can’t convince a newborn to fall asleep during our time together. I was able to get one pose of Arthur asleep but he quickly woke up and was quite happy to observe. I ended up just continuing with the session with him awake. His little eyebrows are my favorite part of this session, Mom says it’s his signature facial expression and fitting for a baby born during the COVID-19 pandemic!
