I’m so excited to meet this couple’s baby boy later this month! Here are a few of my favourites from our summer evening session.
Sometimes baby’s start off shy and that’s totally okay! It took a while for Miss Chloe to warm up and finally show some of her smiles. I’m so glad we were able to get a lots of giggles and belly laughs out of her at the end of our session. She was skeptical about the cake but in the end finally gave into the sugary goodness!
I love this pink and white session that mom requested! We did mostly photos of newborn baby girl Asees but also included a few sibling and family photos as well. Mom didn’t have a lot of request and luckily I was able to create set ups to my preference. I love when I’m able to do this! The studio has TONS of props and not everything has been used so it’s always fun to get to pull things off the shelf that doesn’t get photographed often.
Edmonton has such weird weather, it’s sunshine one minute and then rain the next! A lot of the times I tell clients we will decide if a session is still happening just hours before since Edmonton weather changes for frequently. With the family maternity session we lucked out! We only just finished before a huge thunderstorm started!
Finn was itty bitty at just over 6 pounds for our session. He already is so particular in how he wanted his hands to be placed but I’m so glad he gave in for some of the poses! Mom requested a grey and blue theme with wood backdrops. I love how this session looks together, my favourite part of newborn sessions is getting to go through my huge stash of props and outfits and creating a unique gallery for my families.
